Department of English, which has been operational since the inception of this college, handles classes for UG Part II English Foundation Course and Communicative skills for M.Com I semester.
The Department's efforts have been focused on not just teaching the allocated syllabus but also to improve Communication skills of the students which are of prime importance in today's job market. The Department encourages the students to explore the vast possibilities connected with learning languages in general and English in particular.
Despite the limited enthusiasm for and reluctance driven by fear of English among students, the Department puts forward its best efforts to enthuse them to explore and experience the joys of English language by various means and methods.
